Kerala PSC State Tax Officer latest notification 2021 has been released by the Kerala Public Service Commission. The commission is inviting applications for vacant State Tax Officer positions. Only interested and eligible candidates can apply online via the One Time Registration process. Those who have already registered can apply using their profiles. Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

The age limit is between 18 and 36 years.

Only candidates born between the dates of 2nd Jan 1985 and 1st Jan 2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this position, with Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities enjoying the usual relaxation.

Educational Qualification

Graduation degree with law
Pass in Chartered Accountant (Inter) as established by the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. (Central Act 38 of 1949)
Masters Degree in Commerce
Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance)

Training

According to rule 4 A of the special rules, the appointed candidate must undergo such training as the government or the commissioner, State Good and Services Taxes Department, prescribed from time to time, and will only start probation in this post after completing the training. Once the applicant has completed the training, he or she is only entitled to the allowances that the government specifies from time to time. The time spent in training would not be considered for the increment of the time scale of pay.

Probation

Any candidate appointed to this position will be on probation for a total of two years over a three-year term beginning on the day he or she reports to duty. If a probationer has not already passed the following tests, he or she must do so during the probation period.

Pay Scale

Appointed candidates will receive a pay scale between Rs 39,500 and Rs 83,000.

The candidate must submit a photograph, which must have been taken after December 31, 2011. The candidate’s name and the date the photograph was taken should be legibly printed at the bottom.
Candidates who have an Aadhaar card should include it as ID proof in their profile.
Before applying, candidates should verify the accuracy of the details in their profile.
The application that has been submitted is provisional and cannot be changed or withdrawn after it has been submitted.
