Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for continuous period one year on duty within a continuous period of two years. Note:- (i)The appointing authority may extend the period of probation for another two years to enable the appointing authority to decide whether the probationer is suitable for regularization or not. (ii)All other relevant provisions of Rule 184 of KCS Rules are also applicable.

Qualifications for Office Attendant Position:
- Eligibility for Current Employees:
- Applicants must be full-time contingent staff from Member Societies with at least three years of continuous service. Candidates must remain actively employed by the Member Society both at the time of their application and at the point of appointment.
- Educational Requirements:
- Candidates must have successfully completed at least Standard VII. Additionally, applicants must not hold any degree qualifications.
Qualifications for the Position of Cashier
- Service Requirements:
- Candidates must have at least three years of regular service in approved posts, at similar or higher levels, within Member Societies (PACS and Urban Co-operative Banks). It is essential that applicants continue to be employed by the Member Society both on the date they apply and on the date they are appointed.
- Educational Qualifications:
- Option A: Hold a Degree in Commerce or a Master’s Degree in Arts from a recognized university with a specialization in Co-operation.
- Option B:
- (i) Possess any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- (ii) Have a Higher Diploma in Co-operation or Business Management (HDC or HDC & BM) awarded by the State Co-operative Union of Kerala, or HDC and HDCM by the National Council for Co-operative Training, or have successfully completed the Subordinate (Junior) Personal Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation).
- Option C: Obtain a B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) Degree from Kerala Agricultural University.
