Applications are invited online only from qualified candidates for selection to the post of Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector in the Motor Vehicles Department. Applications may only be submitted online via the Kerala Public Service’s official website.
Vacancy
According to the notification, there are 30 vacancies in total. The ranked list of chosen candidates published by the Kerala Public Service Commission in accordance with this notification shall continue to be in effect for at least one year, provided that the list remains in effect until the publication of a new list following the expiration of the minimum period of one year or until the expiration of three years, whichever occurs first. Candidates from the above-mentioned list will be notified in relation to any openings that may be reported to the Commission during the list’s validity period.
Age limit
The notification states that applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 36. The only candidates eligible to apply for this position are those born between January 2, 1986, and January 1, 2001 (both dates included). Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities are given the usual exception.
Qualification
- Pass SSLC or its equivalent.
- A three-year mechanical engineering or automobile engineering diploma from the State Board of Technical Education or another institution accredited by the federal or state governments.
OR
Any degree in either of the above-mentioned fields is deemed equivalent to the above-mentioned diplomas by the federal or state governments.
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence that allows him to operate a motorcycle, a heavy-duty truck, and a heavy-passenger motor vehicle.
