The Department of Kerala Police has received the most recent recruitment announcement from the Kerala Public Service Commission for the position of Police Constable (Armed Police Battalion), Category No. 537/2022. The candidates will be chosen after passing both a written exam and a measurement test. Candidates who are interested and meet the requirements may apply for the positions until January 18, 2023.

Kerala PSC CPO: Educational Qualification
Candidates must have successfully completed the 12th grade, matriculation, or an equivalent exam from a reputable board. For any special category, there will be no room for qualification relaxation. At the time of document verification, applicants who assert that they have an equivalent qualification to the one specified in the notification must present the pertinent government order to support their claim. Failure to do so will result in the qualification being rejected.
Kerala PSC CPO: Age limit
The age range for this position is 18 to 26. Only individuals who were born between January 2, 1996, and January 1, 2004, inclusive, are eligible to apply for this position. For OBC candidates, the maximum age limit will be relaxed to 29 years, for SC/ST candidates to 31 years, and for ex-servicemen to 41 years.

The selection of eligible candidates for the post of Police Constable includes three stages such as
- Endurance Test (Qualifying Test)
- Written Test/ OMR Test
- Physical Efficiency Test
Kerala PSC CPO: Salary
The salary range for this position is from Rs. 31100 to Rs. 66800 per month. During their time of pre-service training or as otherwise determined by the Government from time to time, trainee police constables in the Commando Wing of the India Reserve Battalion will receive a monthly stipend equal to their basic pay.
