For the positions of Soil Survey Officer/Research Assistant/Cartographer/Technical Assistant at the Department of Soil Survey and Soil Conservation, Kerala PSC had issued an online invitation for applications. Only qualified applicants through the One Time Registration Scheme are asked to apply for selection to the aforementioned position in the Kerala Government Service. Candidates must register through the Kerala Public Service Commission’s official website in accordance with the One Time Registration Scheme prior to applying for the position. A candidate’s profile can be used to apply if they have already registered.
Vacancy
There were fourteen vacancies. The Commission’s ranked list of chosen candidates will be in effect for at least one year after it is published in response to this notification, but only until the publication of a new list, which will happen after the minimum one-year period has passed, or until the end of three years, whichever comes first.
Candidates for the aforementioned position as well as any other openings that may be reported to the Commission during the period the ranked list is valid will be notified from the said list.
Age Limit
The age range is 20 to 36. Only applicants who were born between January 1, 1987, and January 1, 2003, inclusive (both dates), are allowed to apply.
Educational Qualification
Agricultural degree from a reputable university. The qualification recommended for direct recruitment shall be one obtained after completing a regular course of study from any Kerala University or one that Kerala University has recognised as comparable thereto.
How to Apply?
- Before applying for the position, candidates must register on the Kerala Public Service Commission’s official website, http://www.keralapsc.gov.in, in accordance with ONE TIME REGISTRATION.
- By signing onto their profile using their User-ID and Password, candidates who have registered can submit their application. To apply for a position, candidates simply click on the ‘Apply Now’ button next to the relevant vacancies in the notification link.
- The submitted photo must have been taken after December 31, 2012. Candidates who are building profiles starting on January 1, 2022, must provide a photo that was taken within the previous six months.
- At the bottom, clearly print the candidate’s name and the date the photo was shot.
- The photo will be valid for 10 years from the date of upload if it complies with all standards.
Mode of Selection
- Written/OMR/Online tests are administered as part of this selection process, and candidates must confirm their attendance by using their One Time Registration profiles. Prior to 15 days of the test, only such candidates can create and download the admission tickets.
- Candidates’ applications will be outright rejected if they don’t provide confirmation within the allotted time. The Exam Calendar itself will include the dates for the submission of confirmation and the availability of Admission Tickets.
- The candidates’ profiles and cell phone numbers recorded there will contain information in this regard.
Last Date
The deadline to submit an application is May 31, 2023, at midnight on Wednesday.
