On December 21, 2022, UPSC made the official announcement for the CDS 1 2023 examination. The CDS Exam is held twice a year by UPSC. Candidates who want to join the Indian Armed Forces must pass the CDS exam. United Defence Service, also known as CDS, recruits personnel for the Indian armed forces. For recruitment into the Indian Army, Air Force, and Water Force, UPSC conducts a Combined Defense Service Examination.
For CDS recruitment, UPSC conducts written tests and interviews. The successful candidates are then sent to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, the Indian Naval Academy in Goa, the Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, and the Officer Training Academy (Chennai). The job of UPSC is to plan the test and find applicants for the academies.

- The UPSC CDS 1 2023 link can be selected.
- Enter your contact information in section I of the registration.
- Fill out part II’s payment information and exam centre selection, upload a photo, and sign the required fields.
- Save it, submit it, and print it out for future use.
